Dawn in Dusk Ward

This is my original pokemon Honda the Houndoom. She is based off a pokemon I have/had (I don't know if I still have her or not) on one of Crystal Version games. Recreated for something has put together I felt like drawing her.

Tried to experiment with a glow effect in the morning sun, hope it turned out okay. I got a tip from someone I watch, that helped. A LOT. I also recorded drawing this one [link]

Name: Honda

Gender: Female

Age: Adult

Species: Houndoom

Personality: Not quick to judge on anyone Honda likes to get to know someone before deciding what kind of pokémon they are. Though should you turn out to be an enemy she will give you no quarter or no chance to explain yourself. Obviously one never quick to forgive someone have they done her or her 'family' wrong. Though should you prove to be one she can trust Honda will never let you down and will always stand up for her friends. Loyalty runs through her veins.

Moves: Crunch, Flamethrower, Firefang, Smog

Physical Traits: Having been clawed in a pokémon battle Honda now has a scar that runs from her right brow, across her right eye, down to just above her collar bone. Her right eye has turned white as a result from an infection that she managed to fight off and can see just fine from all but the upper left hand corner.

Strengths: Thanks to being a Houndoom she had inherited that natural ability where once burned by her FlameThrower attack the pain never truly goes away. Also having resulted from the chase from the Catcher Honda now prides herself as being faster than most pokemon who have speeds around the same as a Houndoom. Fear mostly speeds her as she has a secret fear of being caught, she uses this to power her body to move.

Weakness: Having been scared over her right eye the tissue around the wound pains her at random moments of the day. It is never predictable as to when it will hurt and can be very distracting when it happens. Having hated humans from the moment her family was torn apart by a Catcher she has problems trusting any pokémon that was at once time associated with a trainer, even if they ran away.

History: Having wandered through the city ever since her days as a young pup with her parents, her father a Houndoom mother a Houndour. Honda was born with two siblings. Both of which she is no longer with. Living on the streets trying to avoid coming into contact with any humans, lest they be caught and used as slaves for their battles, beauty contests and all other manner of things that involved being owned. She had hated that word ever since she could remember. Owned. Out one day with her two siblings trying to get food for their mother, who was expecting another litter, she and her siblings came across the dumpster of a restaurant. Being a place they had often frequented and never been caught they had no problem returning that day. Unbeknownst to them the manager had been complaining about the mess some pokémon had be leaving behind his diner and had hired a Pokémon Catcher to do away with what ever was causing the mess. Arriving at their usual spot they were sprung upon by a Mightyena and two Poochyena, who belonged to the Pokémon Catcher. Surrounded she and one of her siblings managed to push through while the other stayed behind to give them a chance to get away. Whom was promptly caught. Speeding down the streets her other sibling fell as well to the attacks of the Catcher as Honda made her way to the only escape she could think of. Home. Leading them right to where her mother and father where her father leapt into action to take down the Mightyena, though found himself outnumbered very quickly. Leaving her father behind and eventually bringing her mother to safety Honda had rage build quickly that soon developed into an everlasting hatred for people. A week or so after the even of losing half her family her younger brother was born. Caring for her brother and never letting him stray far from her sight at any time she found herself very protective of him.
One day Honda's mother left her and her brother to go find some food for them, and never came back. Waiting for a whole week Honda decided that they had to move on or starve. Coming across a place in the city known as Dusk Ward coming across the leader, Boss, of a new gang in progress. Joining with Boss in order to have some sort of 'family' again Honda quickly found her talent for battling, and when having a younger brother and father-like figure to protect she had nothing standing in her way from helping establish borders for the Dusk Ward Gang. After having been with the gang for a good time Honda found herself fighting a particularly difficult battle against another pokemon who wanted to take over a part of the gang's territory. Being scared over her right eye by the claw of the attacker Honda managed to pull off a narrow victory. Upon her victory Honda began to glow a bright white light, confused by this transformation she did not realize she had evolved until giving her body the once over. Though while most of her battle injuries had gone thanks to the transformation the scar over her right eye remained.
