I tried a new tactic for setting things up, and I am VERY happy with how it has turned out. So yeah~ I'm really enjoying what I'm doing right now, and I'm going to keep on pushing.

Before someone that knows me think all those stars are due to a bias, allow me to put that thought to rest with my critique.

Firstly, one of the smaller things that still really caught my attention, the rocks this pretty wolf is standing on. I'm not sure if this is what you were going for but they have a mountain-esque feeling to them, like a ridge overlooking a large valley stretching out. The slight indentations into the stone and soft, yet darker shadows beneath only adds to this feeling. Very well done.

The wolf itself is... Well, gorgeous! I can -SEE- the strokes where you went over the tuft of fur on their chest and tail with the warm color from the sunset. And, oh gods my favorite, that EYE. An icy hue, bright and vivid... You do truly have a knack for drawing eyes. To top it all off the body proportions is very well doe, and that ever so slight grin on his muzzle just makes it~ The ONLY thing I think out of this entire piece I might point at would be the shape of the lower jaw. Maybe it;'s due to lack of general knowledge of canine/wolf breeds but I've never seen that much of a 'bubble' on the underside of the snout before.

The background... My gods, THAT BACKGROUND.

Okay, let me begin with WARM! It -feel-s like I can sense warmth just oozing from my monitor looking at those blazing clouds and that softly shaded sky. It bleeds into such a cool shade of blue that you can almost hear the wind whisking around this magnificent beast and up into the sky.

All in all an extremely powerful display of talent by an immensely talented artist, well deserving of all those stars. Keep up the amazing work, miss Kira. I can only imagine how incredible your art will be in the years to come.

And I look forward to watching you improve~
